Stylegal (and you know I know you!), I can't believe you still have Reese's eggs left in your freezer. You have true willpower! I try to keep Girl Scout cookies in my freezer, but I always end up tearing into the stash and eating them still frozen.

The VERY BEST pb chocolate is the Reese's egg that comes out only around Easter. It's in a yellow, flowered wrapper every year. I have a few in my freezer right now to hold me over until next March!

I agree that it's really hard to beat a Reese's. Not only is it so peanut-buttery good, but it's also a delightful taste of childhood. One bite and you can't help but feel like a carefree 10-year-old all over again.

Thanks for being the canary in the coal mine! I'm tempted enough to at least do some quality control when I can get my hands on one. Nice photo.

I love good chocolate and I'm sure Ghiradelli's new variety is good, too. But, when this skinny girl wants peanut butter/chocolate there is no substitute - it's gotta be Reese's.

I feel like peanut butter is the latest trend in chocolates, taking over last year's burnt caramel and fleur de sel sprinkles. At the recent Chocolate Salon in San Francisco, I tasted at least three versions from chocolate vendors that I could spot. I didn't try Ghiradelli's, but I have to say my favorite peanut butter version was by Charles Chocolates. Very crunchy and natural like. Although, can anyone really replace Reese's Peanut Butter Cups? ;-)
